Security
Authentication, permissions, separation between customers’ data, credentials, dependencies and integrations. I investigate whether the agreed controls work in practice, including paths a normal demonstration may never exercise.
AI-BUILT SOFTWARE REVIEW
Whether you’ve used AI to build your application or added AI features to the product itself, I can review the code, test critical workflows and identify what needs attention before real customers depend on it.
You may have built it yourself, worked with a developer, or reached a point where changes keep breaking things. A review helps you understand what you have and what needs to happen before launch.

WHAT I LOOK AT
We agree the review around your application, its users and the consequences of something going wrong.
Authentication, permissions, separation between customers’ data, credentials, dependencies and integrations. I investigate whether the agreed controls work in practice, including paths a normal demonstration may never exercise.
Critical business workflows, data integrity, error handling and recovery. What happens when a request is repeated, a connection fails, inputs are incomplete or two users change the same record?
Code structure, tests, dependencies, documentation and deployment. Can another developer understand the application and make changes with confidence? Do the tests exercise the behaviour customers rely on?
The technical controls supporting your obligations: access restrictions, personal-data handling, retention and deletion, exports and appropriate records. I identify gaps and questions that need further specialist advice.
Requirements depend on the project. For applications handling personal data, the scope can include controls supporting UK GDPR, including privacy by design and requests to access or delete data. Accessibility, third-party software licences and payment-data handling can also be included where relevant.
This is a technical review supporting compliance readiness. It does not provide legal advice, regulatory certification or a guarantee that the application is free of vulnerabilities.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
A plain-English explanation of the application’s condition, what was reviewed and tested, and what could not be verified.
Issues ranked by their impact, with supporting evidence and reproduction steps where practical, so you can see what needs attention first.
Recommendations on what to retain, repair or investigate further, tied to the workflows and risks that matter to your business.
A conversation to explain the results, answer your questions and help you decide how to move forward.
HOW THE REVIEW WORKS
Tell me what it does, how it was built, who will use it and what concerns you. We establish whether the technology and review needs are a good fit.
We agree the workflows, code and environment to assess, the access needed, deliverables, schedule and fixed price. Any further investigation is agreed before it begins.
I inspect the implementation and test the agreed paths, then explain the findings and limitations. You receive the report and a walkthrough of the recommended next steps.
The report is yours to use with your existing developer or another engineer. Fixes and follow-up verification can be scoped and quoted separately; you do not have to commission further work from me.
THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE REVIEW
YOUR REVIEWER
Director, Rapid Agentic Development Ltd
I’m the engineer who will inspect your code and walk you through the findings. I have a degree in computer science and around thirty years of experience as a software engineer and product manager, including building and reviewing my own AI-assisted applications.
The Sales Scribe case study describes reviews that uncovered incorrect financial behaviour, gaps in access controls and tests that did not exercise the real implementation. It also explains the fixes and the lessons carried into later work.

If your product includes AI-generated output, the UK Company Intelligence article explains how I approached checking commentary against source evidence.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Tell me what you’ve built, the technology it uses and what you need confidence in before launch. We’ll discuss whether a review is the right next step.
